We bid farewell to Ethleen Cowles Bazzell of Montgomery, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 30, 2025 at the age of 85. Ethleen Cowles touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles L. Bazzell; her parents, Dempsey D. Boyd and Ruth Armstrong Boyd; her siblings, David (Sara), Clower (Margarete), Warner Boyd, Minnie Lou Berrey (Thomas), Sue Drake (Bob), Ann Shaw (Clyde) and Ruth Preble (Bill); her grandson Lee Berrey; her great-nephew David Grant Selvage; and also Tommy Berrey.
She is survived by: her niece Patricia Boyd Killough (John); her great-niece Stephanie Killough Selvage; her sister-in-law Margaret Boyd; her children, Debbie Partridge (Gary) and Bobby Boyd (Mickey Ann); her nieces and nephews, Ken (Robbie), Ross Drake of Miami Lakes, Carl Boyd (Faye), Terry Boyd (Tammy) and Connie Mainor (Skip); her grandchild Ethleen; and also, Daniel, Sarah Kate Selvage and Jenelle Jones (Dewey). She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Leak Memory Chapel (945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Southern Care Hospice of Montgomery or one's favorite charity.
