Jacqueline Sheppard Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Sheppard of Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Grady and Nannie Brooks; her son Walker Brandon Hobbie; her husbands, Reverend Thomas J. Sheppard and Reverend William B. Atkinson; and her former husband Judge Walker Hobbie.

She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Hobbie and Brenda Hobbie Taylor (Steve); her granddaughter Nicci Adams (Bryan); her great grandchild Liam Adams; and her brothers, Hugh A. (Sonny) and Brooks (Ann). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
