He was predeceased by: his spouse Gertha Foster Herndon. He is survived by: his daughters, Ernestine H. Bryant of Montgomery, AL, Icyphine H Welcher (Hannie) and Helen H. Jones of Montgomery, AL; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Welborn of Eufaula, AL and Ruby Flanagan of Columbus, GA. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
