He was predeceased by: his brother Curtis McCollum (late Joyce). He is survived by: his wife Anna Salter McCollum; his sons, James Terry McCollum, Jr. (Rene Beasley McCollum), Frank Timothy McCollum (Carrie Ellis McCollum) and Kevin Wiley McCollum (Wendy Granberry McCollum); his grandchildren, James Thomas (Jay), Kate McCollum Watson (Alex), Cameron McCollum (Brianna), Jacob McCollum, Connor McCollum and Spencer McCollum; his great grandchildren, Kate and Alex Watson; and his siblings, John Wesely McCollum (Marlene), Isaac (Ike), Eula "Jane" McCollum Kissel (Richard (Passed) and Elaine McCollum Foster (Houston).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alabama Heritage Funeral Home (10505 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery, AL 36117). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
