It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Vice Jr. of Montgomery, Alabama, born in Selma, Alabama, who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vice and Bernice Vice. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hamilton Vice; his daughters, Mary Elizabeth Vice Godwin (Rob) and Catherine Ann Vice Easterling (Ben); his grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Godwin Jackson (Trey), Mary Kate Godwin, Mary Margaret Easterling, Caroline Hamilton Easterling and Ben Easterling IV; and his sister Betty Ann Vice Snider.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Whitfield Memorial United Methodist Church.
