She was predeceased by: her son Michael Ruud; her mother Mary Grace Wilson; her stepfather Thomas Wilson; her sister Tammy Smith; her brother-in-law Randy Smith; her nephew Dalton Smith; her niece Bonnie Smith; and her father Thomas Gilpin.

She is survived by: her husband Frank Ruud; her children, Brad Ruud (Kelly), Carolyn Dorman (Wyman) and Kimberly Gallacher (John); and her grandchildren, Sara Ruud, Savannah Ruud, Madison Ruud, Peyton Ruud, Rex Smith, Maggie Smith, Lilly Smith, Wilson Hodges, Ryne Gallacher and Harper Gallacher. She is also survived by six nieces, and eight nephews.
