She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Edwin "Red" Gibson; her husband Robert "Bobby" Hughes; and her sister Susan Dreading (Ben) of Fairhope, AL.. She is survived by: her former husband George "Barry" Barrett Bierman; her children, Glen Barrett Bierman and Paige Saunders (David); her sisters, Mary Wood (Richard) of Trussville, AL, Henrietta Wills of Mobile, AL and Margaret; her grandchildren, Andrew, Scott, Will, Patrick and Mary Kate Saunders of Thomasville, GA; and her pets, Pixie and Lulu. She is also survived by her six nieces and five nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to Miss Kitty's Feline Sanctuary or Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society.
