She was predeceased by: her son John H. Nelson; her husband Art Nelson; and her parents, Ivey T. Massey and Thomas K. Massey. She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Jana Nelson Martin; her son-in-law Jerry Martin; her grandchildren, Dr. Mackenzie Martin and Madison D. Martin; her friends, Heather and Brian; and her extended family, Andy, Mickey, Sarah, Brent, Norah, Maddie, Sharon and Gary.
