She was predeceased by: her parents, Edger Ray and Theresa Desilets Galloway. She is survived by: her husband Donald D. Oswald, Sr.; her sons, Donald D. Oswald, Jr. (Robyn) of Vestavia Hills and Jonathan G. Oswald of Montgomery; her grandchildren, Taylor, Haley Oswald of Montgomery, Elizabeth and Noah Oswald of Vestavia Hills; her siblings, John Galloway (Jeanette) of Skipperville and Elizabeth Galloway; her siblings-in-law, Mary Frances Norris of Wetumpka and Ernest Beasley of Montgomery; her siblings' children, Blake Lugenbeal (Heather) of Charleston, SC., Bryce Lugenbeal of Charleston, SC. and Christina Galloway of Skipperville; and her great-niece Chloe Lugenbeal of Charleston, SC..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to the Montgomery Baptist Association's Love Loud Montgomery (Forest Park) Ministry.
