She was predeceased by: her parents, Oleta Alexander and Ward Alexander; and her husband Ira Fincher Allen, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Ira Fincher Allen, Jr. (Steve) and Alexandra Allen Hackett (Ed); her grandchildren, Edward Hackett (Ginny) and Alexandra H. Neff (Scott); her great grandchildren, Teddy and Tommy Hackett; and her siblings, Patricia Sowell and Ward Alexander, Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
