She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Diffly II and Wilma Castleberry Diffly; her husband John J. Bird; and her siblings, John J. Diffly III and Wilma Ann Diffly.

She is survived by: her children, John J. Bird (Tracy), Sharon Bird, Mike Bird (Allison) and Mark Bird (Laura); her grandchildren, Jordan Bird, Jonesy Bird (Joey Bradley), Joli Pinkham (Ryan), Michael Bird II (Collins), Amber Bird and Diffly Bird; her great grandchildren, Maddie Bradley, Lily Bradley, Rosie Bradley and Allen Bird; and her sister Diane A. Diffly.
