He is survived by: his wife Joy Paterson Stallings; his children, Lynn Stallings and John Thomas Stallings, Jr. (Angie Godwin Stallings); his grandsons, John Thomas Stallings, III (Sarah Kathryn) and Wesley Edward Stallings; and his great grandchildren, John Thomas Stallings, IV and Amelia Gray Stallings.
