With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Patrick Cox (Montgomery, Alabama), who passed away on November 4, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Thompson Cox; his parents, Roy Cox and Elsie Cox; and his brother Roy Andrews Cox. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Patrick Cox, Jr., Patti Cox Campbell (Lyman), Tammy Jo Cox and Hayley Campbell Denney (Lide); his grandchildren, Jennifer J. Miller (Josh) and Patrick Curtis Cox; his great grandchildren, John David Drumwright, Campbell Olivia Drumwright and Brantley Denney; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Cox of Virginia and Joann Barnes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Frazer UMC Music Ministry and Amedisys Hospice.
