She was predeceased by: her parents, George F. Reed and Catherine V. Reed; and her brother Robin. She is survived by: her husband Barry Bledsoe; her sons, Christopher Bryan Bledsoe (Bambi), Franklin Dennis Bledsoe (Claire) and James Rodney Bledsoe (Carrie); and her siblings, Georgia Dozier, Valorie Satterwhite, Rene Mashburn, Anita Matchett, Carmyn Tucker, George F. Reed, Jr. (Butch) and William Dewey Reed (Chuck). She is also survived by grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the music ministry at First Baptist Church of Montgomery or to The Baptist Foundation of Alabama.
