He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Carroll Sutherland and Gladys Hart Sutherland; and his son-in-law James Phillip Stabler. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sutherland; his daughter Reba V Street; his son-in-law Steven Street; his son Roger E Sutherland; his granddaughters, Mary-Austin V Stabler and Denise Brianne Kocher; his grandson-in-law Gary C Kocher; his great grandchildren, Abigail G Kocher and Shane A Kocher; and his uncle Jim Sutherland (Georgia). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
The family requests memorial contributions be sent to the Community Ministries of First Baptist Church Montgomery or to the Montgomery Association for Retarded Citizens (MARC).
