She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, Abner McGehee and Montgomery; her husband Wilbur Nicoll (Bill); her son Regis Marshall Nicoll (Joanne Bowden Nicoll); her grandchildren, Alex Bowden Nicoll (Blanche Hill Nicoll) and Devon Nicoll Oviedo (Jose Luis Oviedo); and her great grandchildren, Claire Rose Oviedo, Violet Anne Oviedo, Renee Elizabeth Nicoll and Graham Hill Nicoll. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
