He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Jo Sikes; and his parents, Jim Sikes and Maude Sikes. He is survived by: his wife Marian Sikes of Montgomery; his son Derek Sikes (Tracie); his granddaughter Dereka Sikes; and his stepchildren, Barbara Fields (Ron), Sharon Long (Dan) and Bayron Knight, Jr..
