Majorie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Majorie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Majorie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parent Marie Duncan Houston; her stepfather Everett Houston, Sr.; and her brother-in-law Raymond Thomas, Sr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Celestine Thomas of Detroit, Michigan and Everett F. Houston, Jr. of Detroit, Michigan; her niece Tracie Thomas of Detroit, Michigan; and her nephews, Raymond Thomas, Jr. (Ella) of Lansing and Duane Thomas (Rhonita) of Detroit, Michigan. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (2815 Forbes Dr, Montgomery, AL 36110). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
