We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2025, at the age of 84, Marjorie Ruth Deason of Montgomery, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Brigance and Alma Brigance; her significant other James Carl Deason; and her siblings, Audrey Howard, Kenneth Brigance, Hubert Brigance and Virginia Gillespie.

She is survived by: her daughters, Darla Howorth (Bobby) and Andrea Tyus (Keith); her grandchildren, Taylor Tyus, Rachel Macias (Josue), Morgan Fisher (Billy) and Julie Handey (Mason); her great grandchild Shepherd James Fisher; and her brothers, Elmer Brigance (Alice) and Wendell Brigance (Connie).
