We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Mary Dowdy of Montgomery, Alabama, born in Andalusia, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Terry and Huldah Sullivan Terry; her brother James Phillip Terry; and her husband Rufus Brown Dowdy, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Weyandt (Greg) and Lisa Barber (James). She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several wonderful nieces and nephews.

There will be a private graveside service for family only and a celebration of her life service when the threat of Covid is lessened.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wesley Gardens In Memory of Mary T. Dowdy, 1555 Taylor Road, Montgomery, AL. 36117 or First United Methodist Church, both of Montgomery.
