She was predeceased by: her husband Walter "Bill" Thurman; her parents, Willie B. Meadows and Margaret Oliver Meadows; and her stepmother Vera Shankles Meadows. She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Thurman Powell, Mary Thurman Long (Euless) and Elaine Thurman Mays; her brothers, Clarence "Tuck" Meadows, Wayne Meadows and Tremon Meadows; her grandchildren, Laura Hulgan (Clements), E. Harrison Long (Amy), Margaret E. Hulgan, Bradley Alexander Long (Caroline), Robert Barry Hulgan, Shelley O. Powell, Christy Dianne Powell and Walter Kenley Powell (Lindsey); and her siblings, Howard Meadows, Herbert Meadows, Johnny Meadows, Cornelia Meadows, Katie Dalton and Lina Benefield. She is also survived by 16 Great-Grandchildren & 6 Great Great-Grandchildren Several Nieces & Nephews.
