She was predeceased by: her grandson James "Trey" Stembridge III; and her sister-in-law Gale Pigott. She is survived by: her son James "Jay" Stembridge Jr. (Jackie); her granddaughters, Megan Stembridge and Katie Stembridge; and her siblings, Phyllis Weeks Barlow (Richard) of Meridian, MS, Betty Ann Leister of Phoenix, AZ, Ricky Leister (Tina) of Meridian, MS, Rev Walter Pigott of Orangeburg, SC and Rev Stephen (Sarah) of Fairfax, VA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
