He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frederick Gill and Mary Dorothy Perkins Gill; his sisters, Jane Cobb and Jacqueline Cooper; and his uncle Alf.

He is survived by: his wife Lynn Gill; his children, Paul Gill, Nicola Wright, Juliet Butler (Joey) and Misty Eberhart (Ed); and his brothers, David and James Gill. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Michael's memory may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
