She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Monroe Martin, Jr. and Miriam "Chick" Moore Martin; and her son Jimmy Hodges Ellis, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband John Mason; her son Charles Allen Wilkinson, II (Misty); her sister Bobbie Martin Morthland (Richard); and her grandchildren, John Martin Ellis (Alaina), Elizabeth "Lizzy" Ellis Pardue (Russell), Allie Wilkinson and Martin Wilkinson. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and nephews.
