He is survived by: his wife Rita; his daughters, Taylor Smith of Columbus Georgia and Madison Smith of Houston, Texas; his sisters, Debra Smith of Grand Prairie, Ronda Smith of Augusta, Caroline McCray (Carlton) of Augusta and Tracy German-Burke (Russell); his grandson Nolan Ryan Brooks; his aunts and uncles, Bennie Smith (Laura), Herbert Smith of Montgomery, Alabama, Annette Simmons of Chicago, Charlotte Wallace (Donald) of Jonesboro, Mary Newton and Margaret Ross of Augusta, Georgia; and his friend Kevin Forman of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews.
