In loving memory of Nelda Rugene Carr of Montgomery, Alabama, who departed this world on September 11, 2025 at the age of 83. Nelda leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Owens and Brunell Owens; and her husband Warren A. Carr. She is survived by: her children, Amy Hinton (Phil) of Ellijay, GA, Allison Haynes (David) of Mobile, AL and Ashley Carr (Erin) of Gurley, AL; and her grandchildren, Zachary Haynes, Jeremy Haynes, Ainsley Haynes, Laurel Carr and Calvin Carr.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Leak Memory Chapel (945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
