She was predeceased by: her husband Bill L. Roper; her siblings, Sue Phillips and Don Phillips; and her parents, Ish Phillips and Elizabeth Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Stewart (Scott) and Kathy Shirley (Mike); her grandchildren, Walker Harris, Sara Elizabeth Granthum (Will), Worth Harris and William Shirley; her great grandchildren, Roper and Dawson Granthum; and her sisters-in-law, Janis Phillips and Brenda Moorefield (Charlie). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
