She was predeceased by: her husband Derrell Lynoid Vaughn Sr.; her daughter Shannon Vaughn Robinson; her parents, Eloise Hoskins and David Wardlaw Davis, Sr.; and her siblings, Anna Davis Hall and Dr. David W. Davis Jr..
She is survived by: her son Derrell L. Vaughn Jr.; her grandchildren, Derrell Vaughn, III, Davis Vaughn and Elizabeth Wesley Vaughn; and her close friend Thelma Shuford. She is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and their children.
