It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Jean Merrill (Montgomery, Alabama), who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernell Meadows and Brasel Meadows (Chalk); and her son Heath Merrill. She is survived by: her husband Bert Merrill; her daughter Stacie Cummings (Clay); her granddaughter Cate; and her siblings, Jim Meadows (Sheila), Sheldon Willis and Jamie Carpenter (Bert). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
