She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Herman Pitts and Annie Lois Harrison Pitts; her husband Thomas E. "Tommy" Darby, Sr.; and her son Thomas E. "Ted" Darby, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Herman Lee "Todd" Darby (Leigh Margaret), Timothy Everett "Tim" Darby, Peggy Elizabeth "Penne" Darby and Patricia Joyce "Patty" Darby Dennis (Jeffrey); her sisters, Barbara Pitts Lindsey and Betty Pitts Gautney; and also Leona. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
