He is survived by: his wife Annie; his daughter Anita Wilson; his grandson Joshua Wilson of Raleigh, NC.; his siblings, Frances Smith of Petersburgh, VA, Carrie Knottingham (Winston) of Silver Springs, MD. and William Sparrow (Gayle) of Roanoke, VA.; his aunt Margaret Cuffie of Virginia Beach, VA.; and his siblings-in-law, Pearl Bowser, Alfonzo Martin of Montgomery, AL. and Ruby Askew of Norfolk, VA..
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Phillips-Riley Funeral Home (2284 W Fairview Ave, Montgomery, AL 36108). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery.
