He was predeceased by: his daughter Elizabeth Dowe; and his father Benjamin Leon Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Dale Bamberg Franklin; his children, Laura Brewer (Josh) and Cameron; his grandchildren, Hollan, Millie and Franklin Brewer; his mother Claudette Gaddy Beauchamp; and his siblings, Katherine Bonham, Ben and Will Franklin.
