He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alto Carr and Bidia Searcy Carr (Searcy); his former wife Martha Sue Carr (McGowan); his siblings, Wilson Carr (Lucille), Hubert Carr (Jonnie) and Audrey Williams (Junior); and his grandsons, David Aaron Wilson and Brian Scott Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam Carr (Mims); his stepdaughter Sherri Hearn; his children, Sheila Wilson (Curt) and Robert C. Carr, Jr. (Brenda); his granddaughter Kayla Deanna Carr; and his stepsons, Eugene Mims and Gene Mims (Cindy).
