He was predeceased by: his mother Ollie K. Sasser of Dothan, Alabama.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Clements Sasser; his children, Robb Sasser (Christi) of Montgomery and Karon Staples (Barry) of Birmingham; and his grandchildren, Kirby Sasser, Lib Staples and Jack Staples. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
