He was predeceased by: his father Philip Curtis Head; and his brother Stan Head. He is survived by: his mother Patsy Lee Weldon Head; his brother Steven Head (Gwen); and his nephews, Garret Head, Parker Head (Karsyn) and Philip Head. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude or to Wounded Warriors of Alabama in his memory.
