He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Brown and Sara Katherine Brown. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Kathie Blaze Capps (James) and Stephen Douglas Brown Jr. (Sommer); his grandchildren, Bailey Blaze, Georgia Blaze, Catie Capps, Dustin Bradford, Caleb Brown, Sydnie Brown and Lucy Brown; and his great grandchild Saylor Bradford.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to Taylor Road Baptist Church- The Myers- Mallory State Missions Offering.
