He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Mae and Leon Parker; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Jennifer Betts (Bill) and Julie Threatt (Jason); his grandsons, Jackson Betts (Nava), Joey Betts and James Betts; and his niece Stacey Deland (Robin).
