Jenkins of Madison, Mississippi; her husband David McKenzie; her children, Brian McKenzie of Tokyo, Japan and Catherine McKenzie of Charlotte; her brothers, Randy Jenkins of Pearl and Darryl Jenkins (Sandra) of Madison, Mississippi; her niece Darrilyn Jenkins of Memphis, Tennessee; her nephew Matthew Jenkins (Kiyah) of Ridgeland, Mississippi; and her close friends, Loretta and Deidre. She is also survived by relatives, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the White Chapel- Greenwood (909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the White Chapel (909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109).
In 2006, Veronica founded the Successful Living Center in Montgomery, Alabama, an adult daycare center serving individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
