He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Sandy Gray Sr. and Sara Harrison Gray; his sister Virginia Gray Guthrie; and his former wife Gloria Mathews Gray. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Gray; his children, Sharon Gray Bass (Brent), Clodine Michelle Jackson (Bailey) and Christopher Allen Graves; his grandchildren, Taylor Bass Barraza (Evan), Derrick W. Bass and Lillian Gober; his nephew Benjamin Guthrie; and his niece Virginia Walker. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Virgil's memory may be made to Montgomery Humane Society.
