With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Nicholson of Montgomery, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Nicholson and Ava Nicholson; his son James Nicholson; and his wife Ruby Long Nicholson. He is survived by: his children, Georgia Shearon (Bob), David Nicholson (Brigitte Lewkowicz), Melinda Allen and Liz Nicholson; his grandchildren, Jenifer Parris (Bryan), Josh Shearon and Jamie Boyce; his children, Kelly Nicholson and Sara Nicholson Childree (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Kate Lewkowicz and Greg Beidleman (Erin); his children, Naomi Aitken and Maddie Allen; and his grandsons, Jacob Henry and Noah Blaylock. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other family members.
