Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Andrew Baxter, Sr. of Montgomery, AL and Florita Beatrice Burgess of Washington, DC.; and his siblings, Shirley Spiedel, Florita Ford and Anthony Baxter.

He is survived by: his wife Gayle-Thomas Baxter of Hyde Park; and his siblings, Tessie Baxter of Quincy, MA, Juanita Baxter (Charlene) of Stoneham, MA and John Michael Baxter of Sacramento, CA.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jubilee Christian Church (1500 Blue Hill Ave, Mattapan, MA 02126). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (427 Cummins Hwy, Boston, MA 02131).
