We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2025, at the age of 88, Barbara Whitfield of Moody, Alabama, born in Savannah, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Whitfield of Moody, AL; her parents, Clyde Teas and Maxelle Teas of Haleyville, AL; and her great grandchild Brooklee Entrekin. She is survived by: her daughters, Lee Ann Miles and Marion Barnes; her grandchildren, Misty Whitson (Jason), Brett Peters (Terri), Austin Barnes (Amber), Stormy Peters, Calvin Barnes and Grayson Barnes (Crystal); and her great grandchildren, Chayce King (Aleigha), Taylor King, Kenlee Entrekin, Jordyn Peters, Tucker Byers, Ocie Byers, Ves Peters, Lark Peters, Memphis Barnes, Adalyn Barnes and Emerson Barnes.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
