He is survived by: his wife Gwen Reed; his siblings, Larry Reed (Bonnie) and Sandra Hull (Fred); his daughters, Stacey Carter (Aaron) and Angelia Kelly; his granddaughters, Megan Simmons (Shannon), Taylor Finch (Anthony), Alyssa Boggs (Jason), Savannah Boggs and Emily Boggs; and his great grandchildren, Mayleigh, Jaxyn, Hayden, Aiden, Mica, Miracle, Lennon, Konner and Creed. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, numerous wonderful friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Crest Cemetery (5730 US-78, Birmingham, AL 35210). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at the Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094).
