He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Thompson and Clemmie Faye Daugherty; and his son Mikal Ashley Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Thompson; his daughter Libby Adkins; his son-in-law William Adkins; and his grandchildren, Chloe', Asheton and Lyllah Adkins.
