He is survived by: his wife Deann Johnson; his parents, Roy Johnson and Ethel Johnson; his sons, Wyatt and Waylon Johnson; his brothers, Chuck Johnson (Elizabeth) and Jason Garrison (Stacie); his parents-in-law, Don and Carole Spiegel; and his sisters-in-law, Donyja Melton and Dedra McCoy (Scot). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home (2214 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
