He was predeceased by: his son Kevin McCoy Brookover. He is survived by: his children, A. Wayne Brookover (Debbie) and Eddie W. Brookover; his grandchildren, Joshua Brookover, Austin Brookover, Allie Brookover and BreAnna Brookover; and his half-sister Faye.
Viewing was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (12950 AL-157, Moulton, AL 35650). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Burningtree Memorial Gardens (4919 Marsha Ave, Decatur, AL 35603).
