She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Brock Tucker and Hazel Louise Black Tucker; her husband Billy Joe Hearod; her siblings, Wilburn Brock Tucker, Jr. (Susan), Joan Johnson (Gene), Carol Ann Smith (Clarence) and Beatrice Barber (Jimmy "Fuzzy"); and her grandchild Lonnie Busbey.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Hastings (Charlotte) and Matthew Hastings (Rita); her sister Vickie Shackleford (Don); and her grandchildren, Nicholas Hastings, Kasey Hastings, Austin Hill (Brandie), Cody Busbey (Anna Marie) and Christopher Hastings (Melinda). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Mount View Baptist Church Building Fund.
