She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin "Shiney" Owens and Cora Gray Owens; her husband Doye Cahela; and her daughter Janet Cahela. She is survived by: her daughter Melonee Wilkerson (Tom); her siblings, Alfred Owens (Diane), Don Owens (Brenda), Nell Thrasher, Annie Bullard and Vicky Maxwell (Danny); her grandchild A. J. Wilkerson (Danielle); and her great grandchildren, Seth Wilkerson and Neil Wilkerson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM.
