It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Byron Giles of Moulton, Alabama, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Curtis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Curtis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Giles and Annie Giles (Sullivan). He is survived by: his sister Bonnie Giles Cavage (Dale); and his sibling's children, Marcia Moore (Zach), Stephanie Quinn (Tony), Cyndi Pike, Melissa Dorosky (Mike), Kevin Gilreath (Kayla), Brian Gilreath (Jonathan) and Mathew Giles.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shelton Funeral Home (2105 Beltline Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601-5596). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211).
