She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Cornelius and Emily Borden Cornelius; her husband Thomas W. King Jr.; her granddaughter Mahalie Freeman; and her siblings, Talmadge Cornelius, Walter Cornelius, Marion Cornelius, Jack Cornelius, Charlie Cornelius, Rual Cornelius, Jimmy Cornelius, Marvin Cornelius, Johnny Cornelius, Billy Cornelius, Cassie Wooden and Lassie Cornelius.

She is survived by : her daughters, Felicia Tidwell (John), Myra Lovelace (Billy Smith), Synetheia King and Cora Beth King (John Garrison); her grandchildren, Brittney Creasy, Ginger Henderson (Michael), Jocey Crites (Ryder), Jacob Lovelace (Shawnee), Jessy Lovelace, Jeffrey Smith, Angel King, John Garrison, Aliza Garrison and William Garrison; and her great grandchildren, Kartur Kilpatric, Myles Harris, Alonni Cooper, Cory Henderson, Monika Pennington, Alexx Henderson, Evelyn Crites, Leo Crites and Ezra Lovelace. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
